The farmers who make up the membership of Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Campo de Tejada have become important seed producers for almost all of the cereals demanded today by the market and by society.

As well as cereal producers, we are also large-scale seed producers. We cover a range from durum wheat to common wheat, barley and triticale, among many others.

We offer certified seeds of high nutritional value.

It is important to make clear that at Campo de Tejada we do not just produce seeds for our cooperative members, but also for all of those customers who need and seek this type of product. The seeds are available to all customers.

In short, we try to meet the demands of all the agri-food professionals in our region.

The cultivation process begins with the sowing of a seed in our fields in order to multiply it. We then proceeded to its reproduction, for which we keep the production on the land of the Cooperative members for a year and, after that period, we gather the harvest which is then used for the production of the seeds.

Eighty percent of the results of our seed producers’ work is sent to other cooperatives, while the remaining 20% is distributed among farmers, large holdings or distributors who act as intermediaries. Cooperatives are our main customer for these products, and they are usually located nearby and so the seeds stay in Andalusia and are harvested on Andalusian land.
